Pakistan, France Agree to Enhance Cooperation in Agriculture

Pakistan and France have agreed to enhance and strengthen co-operation in the field of agriculture, with particular focus on seed and dairy sectors.

This was agreed in a meeting between the visiting French delegation of agro-food enterprises and Minister for Food, Agriculture and Livestock (Minfal) Sikandar Hayat Bosan here Monday.

The Minister for Food Agriculture and Livestock led Pakistan team, while Ambassador of France in Pakistan Regis de Belenet led the French side.

The relations between two countries in agriculture and agro-food were established in 2003. Two sides have highlighted the development potential in a number of fields of activities in which technical, professional, industrial and commercial co-operation could suitably be developed between the enterprises of both countries.
